Elysion Pro has a cooling system that protects the skin and prevents overheating. This unique system acts by maintaining a constant temperature of 5°C (41°F) at the tip of the handle regardless of usage time, skin or room temperature.
Results
During treatment with Elysion Pro, the energy of the diode laser beam penetrates the skin, heating the hair root and destroying it permanently. It is recommended to have a MINIMUM of 4 treatments best hair reduction (it is common to need more than 4 treatments -- 6 to 8 is often how many sessions are needed). These treatments are done every 4-6 weeks depending on the area.

Regular maintenance treatments may be needed to keep the area hair-free. Most commonly, clients will come in for a maintenance treatment 1-2x the following year after their original series.

How many sessions are required?
Answer: Typically, 4-8 sessions are needed for optimal results. However, this can vary based on hair color, skin type, and the treated area.
Can all hair and skin colors be treated?
Answer: Earlier laser technologies were best suited for light skin with dark hair. However, using the latest technology, Elysion Pro can \ treat a wider range of skin and hair colors, but it's essential to consult prior ro treatment to make sure you are a good candidate.
What should I do before my appointment?
Answer: Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and tanning lotions for at least 2 weeks before treatment. Don't pluck or wax for a month-6 weeks before since the laser targets hair roots. Shaving the area a day before the appointment is often recommended.
How long do treatments take?
Answer: Treatment time varies based on the area being treated. Small areas like the upper lip take minutes, while larger areas like the back or legs can take up to 45 mins.
How soon will I see results?
Answer: Some results might be seen after the first session, but noticeable reduction usually occurs after the second or third treatment.
